Arugula and Spinach Cheese Dip | Appetizer Recipe | August Cooking | Vegetarian Recipe

In this video I show you how to make a quick and easy party dip using your spring and fall garden greens. This dip has a wonderful fresh and lemony flavor that never fails to please. You can make this dip or cheese spread in less than 10 minutes. It can be served immediately or chilled in the fridge for an hour to thicken it up a bit.

Arugula and Spinach Cheese Dip:

1 cup of arugula

1 cup of spinach

¼ cup farmer’s cheese (You can substitute with ricotta)

¼ cup cottage cheese

1t Mrs. Dash Lemmon Pepper Seasoning Salt

(You can substitute with the juice of two lemon wedges and a little salt & black pepper)

Crackers or chips

How to prepare:

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and mix. Serve immediately or chill for one hour in the fridge. You can serve it on chips or crackers.

  1. Your paneer video was one of the inspirations for this recipe! 🙂 Farmer's cheese is similar to paneer. I used the cottage cheese to give it some moisture. You could definitely substitute paneer for the farmer's cheese. Let me know what you end up using and how it turns out. 🙂

I usually make spinach and artichoke or just spinach and cheese dip and now I am excited to try it with Arugula. wondering if I can just use Paneer instead of cottage cheese. What do you think?
